Cha Cha Cha Changes.....

Hey Everyone. I recently posted my new schedule that will begin this Thursday, November 19th. In the need to change Evan's babysitter recently (she's having a baby soon! whoo hoo), Michael and I decided it was the right time to reduce my schedule so I can be home more with our son. This is a dream for me to be able to be a full-time mom but until that time, I am happy to continue working, just not as much. I hope you will support me in the changes ahead. I will only be working 2 week days, Thursday's 11am - 9pm and Friday's 10am - 6pm. I will be working every other Saturday from 9am - 2pm. As a result of this new schedule I will no longer be able to accept NEW clients and unfortunately will no longer be able to redeem the FREE 7th pre-booked Hair cuts for the future. I will honor the current 7th Pre-booked appointments scheduled and all others that have 4 or more pre-booked will get a discount of some sort, in good faith. I have prayed about the best way to handle this so I hope this sounds fair. I have enjoyed giving this 'bonus' as it means you have continued to see me that many times but understandably, I cannot afford to continue it's practice with my new reduced schedule.

Vacation Closures and Hours change.

We will be in Gulf Shores, enjoy our pictures from last year. Look at that one month old who is now ONE!!! Wow! ;)

So the Chop Shop will be closed starting October 17th. I will be back to work on Monday, October 26th. :) If you need to get hold of me, you can email lilastuteville@yahoo.com and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

The Chop Shop will also be closed for Thanksgiving, November 25th, reopening November 30th.

Last Closing is for Christmas December 22nd, reopening January 4, 2010!

HOURS

Due to finally being a mommy and needed to rearrange for new babysitters, will be starting the following hours (loosely) at the end of November:

Thursdays 11am - 9pm

Fridays 9am - 5pm

every other Saturday 9am - 2pm

Due to these new hours, I will NOT be accepting any NEW clients for now! This is a good challenge to have as I am very busy with the ones I currently have. Hours are subject to change. Wish me luck! ;)

Vacation

Charitable Opportunity

Roxann's shoes from when she was a baby that were found in the yard by my husband when he was watching their house for them while they were driving back.

Michael and I have some friends named Spencer and Roxann Olsen who rent a home off of Compton Road that was destroyed by a EF 4 tornado this past Friday in our town. Thankfully, friday morning they left to go out of town to Oklahoma to see family. At around 1 or 2pm when they were just past Memphis, in Arkansas, Michael called them with the terrible news that their home was destroyed and their things scattered and ruined throughout the community. As you can imagine this is physically and emotionally torturing to the family of 5 (they have 2 boys and a girl under 9). They are now on a task to find a new home to rent (preferably in the north east part of Murfreesboro) in the next week while they live in a hotel and then sort through their remaining clothes and toys etc to see what is salvageable. Many of you have asked how you can help. They haven't asked for anything, nor identified their needs but I have been to their house to help out, clean up and witness some of their needs. I realize some things cannot be donated and sometimes it is healing to just go get your own stuff. In that light... I decided that there is something I can do. Lila's Chop Shop will be donating all cash tips and collecting any cash donations you or anyone you know would like to make in honor of the Olsen Family for the next 2 weeks. I will be available to collect any monetary donations from 11-7pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. They will be given to the Olsen's with the names of those who contributed, sans the amount the individuals donated, just one big lump sum. I know there were many families affected and appreciate if you can donate something to this one. A reminder, I am only collecting monetary donations at my shop. I have no where to store items of any kind and the Olsen's have no where to put them at this time. Thank you for your time and prayers for our friends they have appreciated and felt every one. Any donation you think you can make in thier honor will be appreciated and used for good.

Thanksgiving Family Portrait

We had a great time with Evan. He loves the beach sounds, it soothes him and he can't wait to see the Pacific Ocean in April or May when we go to meet the rest of my family!

He's been released!

We are on our way to our hotel to FINALLY be alone with Evan! He's doing really well and we are grateful to the staff for being so great & efficiant! We are so happy! Hope you enjoy this picture of Evans contentment and the blanket I crocheted for him. xxoo.

Salon Is Closed for Baby Boy EVAN!

Due to the arrival of our Son, 2 weeks early. I regret to inform you that the shop will be closed for two weeks, earlier than expected. From Tuesday, October 14th - Tuesday November 11th, I will not be at the Chop Shop. I will be coming back to work for a week and a half before Thanksgiving but am solid booked and have no openings until after the second week in December.
